Four tabs for your resume on a phone

On a phone, a resume now has the same four parts as on a computer, each in its own tab: Chat, JD (the job description), Gaps and Resume. A tab appears as soon as there is something in it.

  • Gaps shows how many are still open, and a tick once none are
  • Resume switches between the outline and the PDF, with style and download beside them
  • The job description can be read and edited on a phone for the first time
Improved

Answer a job's requirement question with one tap

When a job asks for something your profile doesn't show, Specific Resume asks before drafting, because a first draft uses a credit. Now you can answer with a button instead of typing.

  • “Yes, I have it” starts your reply, so you can say what you have before sending
  • “Draft it anyway” drafts the resume without it
  • “Skip this job” ends there: no resume, and no credit used
Fixed

Your resume lists only the languages in your profile

A resume could list a language, most often English, that your profile never mentioned. Languages now come only from your profile, and a job that asks for a language never adds one you haven't listed.

Save your resume to Google Docs

A finished resume can now go straight into your own Google Drive as a Google Doc, next to the PDF, Word and Markdown downloads. Choose “Save to Google Docs” in the Download menu.

  • The document opens in Google Docs as soon as it's saved
  • If Google can't be reached, you can copy the resume and paste it into a blank document instead
  • Specific Resume can only open the file it creates, never the rest of your Drive
